Use Demographica whenever you need to report the demographics of a meeting.
Create a new meeting, and press buttons for each of the federal government's categories on race, gender, and age group to count people in each group. One tap for each person is all you need to do. When you're done, you can email the attendance counts to yourself or a program coordinator as a CSV file, which you can open in any major spreadsheet program. Simple!
We've put a lot of time and effort into making Demographica as clean, simple, and feature-free as possible, letting you collect the data and then get on with your meeting. No knob-tweaking and other fiddly setup process; just a simple way to get the data and send it where you need it.
Program coordinators will love it, too, since Demographica will ensure that your volunteers and agents in the field will collect attendance data in a uniform, consistent way which can be sent to you as soon as the meeting happens. (Demographica uses the standard federal reporting race categories.)
We created Demographica to do our own federal reporting within the New Mexico State University Cooperative Extension Service, but we realized many other people could use it, too. If you need to report the demographics of your meetings, Demographica will save you a lot of time and headaches.
Without an iDevice?
If you wish to standardize on Demographica for all your demographics reporting needs,
you may have some meeting organizers without iPhones or iPads which will need to do reporting.
In this case, you can have them fill out a spreadsheet and send it to you, so that
you can aggregate the data using a single workflow. To assist with this, we've
created a ZIP archive containing an Excel and a Numbers spreadsheet which can be
downloaded and used for this purpose.
Using these spreadsheet files, your meeting organizers can submit data to you in the same manner that
Demographica users do.
